The other reason a lot of corporations consider buying their own jet rather than renting one or traveling by commercial airline is the airfare. You have to figure that if you or people in your company are taking dozens of trips a month to places around the country or world, you could be spending more on airfare than you would spend if you just bought the jet.
These jets truly are the most epicurean type of transportation you have ever seen – some of them include all the comforts of your very own home such as on-board beds, televisions, phones, Internet connection, showers, bathrooms (and not those little 3×3 ones you see in the commercial jets!). The only downside to these jets is that they are quite expensive, but this is to be expected. Not only expected, but somewhat wanted. If everyone could afford to own one of these, they would not carry the same appeal that they do right now!
